Filipino Christian Center Celebrates 17th Year: The Year of Victory
"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." - Isaiah 43:18-19
As we celebrate our seventeenth year of ministry and of the center, we remember that God has been faithful and will always be. This year God promises that He will do a new thing; He will make a way for us to be prosperous and have more success. The year seventeen according to Biblical mathematics is the number usually compounded in scripture of the numbers seven and ten. Number seven signifies completeness and number ten signifies testimony so the two combined have a deeper significance of the testimony of completeness or victory that is found in the Lord Jesus Christ.
This year, God will renew and refresh the slothful and dead places of faith and beliefs in our hearts that we might do mighty exploits beyond our abilities. This year, we need to let go of the past, leave our failures behind, neither should we rest on our past accomplishments but expect great and mighty things will come to pass in our lives and the lives of other people for God's glory.
