In a few weeks from now, the vast land of Maryland will experience rainshowers. After the rain, the plants will begin to show up from the ground.

There is a word from the Lord in Ezekiel 34:26, “I will send down showers in season, there will be showers of blessings.”

Only God can say to the clouds and command them to give rain. The artificial rainmakers can not speak to the clouds to give rain. No not one except God’s grace; not created by people.

What can the ground do without the rain? A farmer can till the ground, sow seeds but without the showers it cannot produce. “As the rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth, they cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my Word. I send it out and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to; and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” (Isaiah 55:10-11, NLT)

The Lord said I will send down showers of season. There is always a season for everything, a time to plant and a time to harvest. (Ecclesiastes 3)

What is your season today?

Is it a season of uncertainty? Drought? Heaviness? Discouragement?

Then God has a Word for your season in Malachi 3:10, “Bring the tithes and offerings into the storehouse, then I will open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be enough room to receive it. Your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.” (See also Proverbs 3:9).

Be ready.

Yes be ready for the showers of blessings are on its way!
